Martin Niederer Date of Birth: September 26, 1977 Position: Bond Trader Martin was in love with life! He was excited about his career, his new apartment in Hoboken, his girl Tara. He loved to talk and listen and always made people feel comfortable around him. Martin will always be remembered for his smile and loveable personality. To his family his memory invokes laughter and tears at the same time for you cannot have a memory of Martin that doesn’t cause you to grin. Many people remember him for his athletic abilities and awards. His family will always just remember him as Mart, a little bit insecure about some things, but able to brighten everyone’s day in a special way that only he could. He loved his Mom and Dad and brother Brian, with whom he had such a warm and special friendship. Occasional weekends in Richmond or just the almost daily phone call home to his mom will never be forgotten. Nothing on earth will ever be the same without Martin. He was truly a wonderful young man whose life held such promise and who touched so many people with his special charm. God bless you Martin, you live forever in our hearts.

With love,
Genny xoxo
Hey Cuz,
It’s so hard to put down in words how much we miss you and how happy you made us. So many memories of growing up together – finding our way into trouble, celebrating happy times and also being there for each other during the not so happy times. Not only did I love you and think of you as a friend, but I admire your determination to succeed and most of all your positive outlook on life. I know you will always be watching over us, especially your Mom, Dad, Brian and Tara. I love you.

Your smile, your thoughtfulness, your passion, your ability to make whomever you are with feel like the most important person in the room are only some of the reasons why you will live on in the hearts of everyone you came in contact with throughout your life. You are one of the most important people who has ever touched my life and I owe part of who I am to you. Neither I, nor anyone else will ever forget you and how special you are. I miss you Martin. Just wanted all of you, including martin, to know how much people like yourselves and other friends and families of those lost last year inspire people like myself to be stronger people and to look through the dark shadow and to remind yourself that tommorrow is another day and things will only get better.
i commend you on your courage, and the courage of other friends and relatives, at this indescribable time of great sorrow and lament.
Rest In Peace Martin. You and all your friends colleagues will never be forgotten.
