Vinod Parakat was a great man. From the small amount of time I have spent with him, I was able to learn alot from him. He was always happy and eager to help in any situation. He will be missed greatly.
I had the pleasure of working with Vinod for the past year. He was a hard worker, who met every challenge with a smile.
He adored his wife, and was never more happy than when he told me they were expecting a child. He would have made a wonderful father.
My heart goes out to his family. We will all miss his smile and laughter.
I did not know Vinod that well but knew him as a quiet guy who was a hard worker. We spoke on a few occasions and found him to be a real nice guy and I regret that I did not get to know him better.
Vinod & I ran into each other every now & then in the coffee room. He always came across as a perfect gentleman with a quiet demeanor & a big smile. I wish I had the privilege to work closely with Vinod & know him better, but that was not to be.
Our prayers are with Vinod’s family & his yet unborn child. May they find the strength within themselves to deal with this immense loss.
Fond Remembrance,
Atul
I did not know Vinod well but whenever we passed in the hall he always greeted me with a lovely smile that made me feel that he was glad to see me. I was so sorry to hear that we had lost him.
I had the fortune of working next to Vinod. I certainly miss that great soul, his presence, his sense of humor and of course the meals that he used to share with me every day. It was the best Indian food I ever had!. We had the best of times and certainly became very good friends, I was the first person to know that his wife was expecting a baby, that his mother was coming to visit in November for which he was very excited. We shared a lot of memories about his father, how much he loved him and how his life had been during the last ten years without him. He definitely treasured every moment with his family.! I remember a morning when he mentioned to me how lucky he was having found such a great wife, very caring and loving person… I can go ON and ON talking about Vinod but the space here is limited…I will just treasure all these wonderful memories of my friend Vinod who I miss dearly.
Always,
Vinod had this unique ability to find humor in any situation. I remember him for his mischievous smile every time I saw him as if he was going to crack a joke the next moment. We shared many lighter moments together, which I still remember and treasure. He was a real jovial person who is going to be sorely missed.
I knew Vinod for the past 3 years as my Best friend I ever had. He was very affectionative with his family, friends including me.
He was waiting for the right moment of his happy marriage life for a while and when everything came to his hand I don’t know why God took him away from the world.
I miss him a lot.
Vinod sat beside me on the 103rd floor and we worked together on several projects. He was a great guy: cheerful, kind and gentle. I know from many happy conversations we had how much he loved his little girl, even though he hadn’t seen her yet. I think of him often.
Missing you after 20 years…my friend Vinod, you will never be forgotten.
