Joshua Piver Josh loved living and working in New York. He was young and single and enjoying everything the Big City had to offer. It was such a contrast from college in Vermont and his hometown of Stonington, but Josh was happy no matter where he was. He had a large group of friends, he always kept in touch with, from elementary school through to working at Cantor Fitzgerald. On Sept. 10th, Josh called home to tell me that he and three friends had just found an apartment in Brooklyn- he was so excited- one roommate was a friend from 4th grade, they were in the band together, played soccer together, went to the University of Vermont and both lived in New York, his other roommate worked at Cantor with him and went to College with Josh. His third roommate from Stonington worked summers with Josh at a boatyard. They all worked hard at their jobs- but still enjoyed their time off. They had Dinner parties, would go out to the movies or plays or just hang out at home. We all looked forward to Josh coming home, or when we would visit him in the city- we miss the time we had together so much. – Love
