John Schwartz Date of Birth: April 16, 1952 Position: Bond Broker For my dear husband John, After we got married, he told me that since the first time we held hands he got the feeling that he would marry me, and even though he loved me already, his love grew bigger. During our relationship we learned a lot from each other, from our differences. John taught me an appreciation for beauty and the arts, and he gave me a good life. I am very grateful for the time that he shared with me and for leaving me with so many wonderful memories that will always be with me. My love for John grew bigger over the time, and many times I told him how much I loved him. Sometimes he wanted me to say it again and again, because he was afraid that I would stop loving him. Dear John, I want you to know that I never stopped loving you and I never will.

hey John,
It’s me Christina, the girl who always had a problem that she needed fixed. And who you never minded fixing them for. Thank you.
I pray for strength for your family. God bless you.

Sir….I read your name at the Memorial Service this year. Seeing your face makes me feel prouder and more determined to speak the words “NEVER FORGET”. Peace to your wife, and your family. Most sincerely yours. Deborah A. Sammut
John was an incredible musician. That’s how I knew him at Vassar. We ran into each other on the UWS when I picked up my daughter at her preschool which was near his home. In June of 2001 we ran into John and I said we probably wouldn’t see him again since my daughter would be going to kindergarten in the fall. Her first day of kindergarten was Sept. 11, 2001. John I want you to know that I attended your memorial at Temple Emanu-el to wish you peace. Today I wish you peace on this 20th year.
