Lloyd Rosenberg Date of Birth: December 11, 1969 Department: High Yield Position: Bond Broker Lloyd Rosenberg, 31, was raised in Sheepshead Bay Brooklyn, before moving to Staten Island. We met at Crazy Eddie’s where we both worked. He graduated from Sheepshead Bay High School in 1987 and began working for Cantor Fitzgerald in 1988. We were married in 1992 and made our home in Morganville New Jersey with our three daughters, Samantha, Kaylee and Alyssa. Two weeks before the tragic events of September 11th, we were fortunate enough to spend a weekend away alone together. Something we hadn’t done in over five years. He said to me, “Glenn, I can’t believe we’ve been together more than half of my life.” We talked and imagined what the next half would be like. Lloyd was kind and generous; he never said a bad word about anyone he knew. Recently I’ve come to find out that in business he was the same. Lloyd leaves behind a beautiful legacy. In Samantha, you can’t help but notice his gestures and his personality. In Kaylee, it’s like looking into his eyes and seeing his happy spirit. In Alyssa you can see his face. We use to joke all the time that they were twins separated by 31 years. To me, he gave his heart, and I will carry it with me forever. Lloyd’s passion was being a “daddy.” His girls were his pride and joy. I will forever miss the Saturday mornings when I would sneak downstairs and watch him reading them a book, or playing “horsie.” We, his family, will pray for peace so that his children, and all the other children can grow up without fear. To be able to live the life, full of joy and happiness, that Lloyd wanted them to live. Always and Forever, Glenna, Samantha, Kaylee and Alyssa.

Sheryl Rosner Rosenbaum Date of Birth: March 2, 1968 Position: US Government A light has gone out of our lives, but she will never be forgotten. Sheryl shone as she entered all our lives. When she walked into a room with her smile, and confidence, everyone there knew her and would remember her. As a child who could forget her energy, she was non-stop motion, Always asking, always wanting to know, always getting into everything, but always there with hugs, kisses and smiles. She learned early on how to handle her brothers, Marc and David, making willing slaves out of them. She was magical and had everyone she knew in her power. No parent could have been prouder of the young woman she grew into, confident, bright, level headed, caring and very very loving. We are proud of everything she achieved, of the friends she made and the kind of friend she was to them, of the son she brought into our family and the grandchildren, Hannah and Sam, they gave to us. Sheryl was our equalizer, our strength, our child and our friend. She was the thread that pulled us into a tight, loving and giving family. We were blessed to have her in our lives, if only for 33 years. We will always love, adore and miss her.

Brooke Rosenbaum Date of Birth: December 27, 1969 Department: International Settlements Position: Manager ON SEPTEMBER 11th, OVER 5,000 OF US LOST A LOVED ONE… FOR BROOKE DAVID ROSENBAUM HE LEFT BEHIND A GRIEVING FATHER, MOTHER, STEPMOTHER AND MANY, TOO MANY TO COUNT, FRIENDS AND ACQUAINTANCES… BROOKE WAS PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY HIS BROTHER PETER IN 1998. WE HAD ALMOST BECOME ADJUSTED TO PETER’S UNTIMELY DEATH, MOSTLY WITH BROOKE’S HELP AND NOW BROOKE IS GONE. BROOKE GRADUATED SUNY ALBANY WITH HIS MAJOR IN PSYCHOLOGY. HE WAS KIND OF A QUIET CHILD BUT AS HE APPROACHED ADULTHOOD HE BLOSSOMED. BROOKE WAS OUTGOING AND A JOY TO ALL WHO KNEW HIM. BROOKE WAS MY BEST FRIEND AND I BELIEVE I WAS ONE OF HIS. Angela Rosario Date of Birth: November 2, 1973 Position: Traders/Broker’s Assistant, TradeSpark Angela, our Angel Angela Rosario was born on November 2, 1973, in New York City. She resided in the Lower East Side of Manhattan throughout her life. Angela attended Bellevue Day Care, P.S. 134, JHS 56, and graduated from Murray Bergtraum High School in June of 1991. Angela always realized the importance and the need to further her education. In order to support her educational goals, she held several full time positions and attended school in the evenings. In June of 1999, Angela received her Associate of Arts Degree from Borough of Manhattan Community College. She was in the process of pursuing a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Psychology, at Hunter College. As any teenager, Angela was ecstatic to commence on her working career. At the age of sixteen, she proudly accepted her first job at a summer youth program. Upon her high school graduation, she was hired by Nynex and later worked for Eurobrokers. Ultimately, she landed a position at Cantor Fitzgerald in 1997. Angela had a need, a desire to help and care for others. Her desire to help people came naturally, and it was no surprise when she decided to major in Psychology. Many people were attracted to her inner beauty and magical way of making them feel special. She hoped to someday reciprocate her gift of love and kindness by professionally helping people in need. Among her goal in life, Angela wanted more than anything to continue her educational career and relocate her mother from the Lower East Side to a house of her own in the suburbs. Angela was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to pursue one of her many dreams – to travel. She often vacationed with her friends or family members. She particularly enjoyed traveling to different islands.

Elvin Romero Date of Birth: January 26, 1967 Department: International Equities Position: Vice President La vida te da sorpresas, sorpresas te da la vida…who knows what tomorrow will bring? Simple phrases that became my husband’s philosophy on life. Live each day to the fullest and enjoy it to the end. How glad I am that he felt that way and lived that way, for in his 34 years, he was a man who dreamt his dreams-and then made them come true. Long ago he dreamt of working on Wall Street and becoming a trader, and he did. He dreamt of falling in love and having a family, and he did. More recently, he dreamt of putting in an inground pool in our yard and swimming with Gabriella and Alexander, and he did. He dreamt of seeing Gabi start kindergarten with her head held high, and she did. Since he was a boy, he dreamt of owning a sports car, and all of those who knew him well knew he got that 2001 silver Corvette Z06. Elvin was a dreamer. He was also a proud, loving father…a dedicated son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin…a devoted husband. He was and always will be my best friend, my soulmate. He taught each of us in his life a valuable lesson whether family, friend or simple acquaintance. Do whatever it takes to be happy in this life. His legacy lives on in all those who were touched by his magic and by his kindness. May we never forget to stop and appreciate the beauty that is each new day. Te quiero con todo mi corazon, mi amor.

Scott Rohner Date of Birth: March 23, 1979 Position: Trader on the Foreign Exchange Scott only lived to be 22 years old, but he accomplished more than most people accomplish in a lifetime. He grew up in a loving family, the fifth of six children, in River Edge, New Jersey. He attended River Dell High School, where he was the captain of the football and basketball teams, and later played both sports at Hobart College, where he majored in economics and minored in Americans Studies. He was an exceptional son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson and loyal friend. Scott loved life, and experienced more than many people do, because he had such a positive attitude. If you met Scott, you would be taken by his trusting eyes and warm smile. He chose to see the good in people. He never judged people, but respected them for their beliefs. He was smart, sensitive, funny, athletic and genuine. He was unselfish and compassionate. Everyone who met him admired and loved him because of his warm spirit and kindness. He had a much to live for, and would have made great contributions to this world. He was far from ordinary, as everyone said who knew him. Even though he was only 22 when he died, he lived more, loved more and experienced more than many can say they have. He brought so much joy into our lives; it is hard to imagine that we can go on without him. Our hearts ache, but when we think of Scott, and his exceptional life, we smile.

Antonio Rocha Date of Birth: February 8, 1967 Department: Emerging Markets Tony was a good husband and a good father to his 3 1/2 year old daughter Alyssa and his 7 month old son Ethan. All his clients tell me how he was a good person and how he built good friendships with them. He had a good heart and also a brilliant head. He will be very missed by his family.

Donald Robertson Date of Birth: December 24, 1965 Position: Broker On September 11, 2001, Don Robertson, a 35 year old broker with Cantor-Fitgerald went to work on the 105th floor of World Trade Center tower one and was never heard from again. Don left behind his wife, Karen, and their four children, Michael, Matthew, Madison, and Kevin, ages 9 through 17 months. Don was a great father who coached two hockey teams and helped Karen coach a soccer team. He loved his family and it definitely showed in his home. His house was a virtual fantasy land for children. He was always buying go-carts, kayaks, surfboards, fishing poles, etc., for him and his children to enjoy together. He didn’t do this to surround himself with “stuff,” he did it so his kids would stay close to home, and he could then stay close to his kids. His wife, Karen, was a stay at home Mom. Incredibly, she spoke at Don’s memorial service with their four children at her feet, praising Don’s love and commitment for his family. Don was loved by everyone. He was an unbelievable friend to many. Anyone that he came into contact with was immediately taken with him. He possessed a personality and a smile that drew people to him. A great ice hockey player, Don always loved playing the game with his buddies a few times a week. Our hearts are broken, but the memories will keep us going on. God bless you, Don, and may you be up there scoring goals and entertaining all.

John Armand Reo Date of Birth: January 25, 1973 Department: Desk of John Murray, Todd Pittman, and Brian Novotny Position: Credit Derivatives Broker John, 28, was the beloved son of Armand and Judith Reo, of Troy, NY. John was the youngest of five children. After spending a year at Notre Dame, he graduated from SUNY Albany, NY. John loved his family. His three older sisters, Suzanne Swaine, Kristin Maguire, and Meghan Metzemaekers were married with children. His 8 nieces and nephews adored him and named him their “Johnny Boy.” John loved the hours he spent on the golf course or at a Yankee game with his beloved older brother, Mark, and his three brothers-in-law, John Swaine, Rich Maguire, and Dave Metzemaekers. With his dad and all the men in his family, hours were spent after golf, a good cigar and many laughs. A few months ago, in May, John followed his brother in law, John Swaine, into the “Big Apple”. He was living with the Swaines in Larchmont, NY and working with John Swaine at Cantor Fitzgerald. A new start…a great opportunity…exciting times. John Reo avoided any particle of life that was mean spirited. He took in the beauty of nature-took time to watch the hawk in flight or the deer stand in silence. John often used his quick wit to disarm all of his friends into howls of laughter. His search was always for peace. He quietly spread his calm manner to all who knew him. He was born a gentle soul. People filled with hate who thought they could destroy him and others, only succeeded in opening the doors for John and his dear brother-in-law, John Swaine, to enter arm in arm into an eternity of God’s love, joy, and everlasting peace. We will remember them always. We will love them forever.
